Summer Reading List 2021

Wesleyan Heights UMC

As the Wesleyan Heights moves into the summer, we enter Kingdomtide. This is a season during the liturgical calendar, the calendar that sets the church's pattern of life, that the church is invited to grow. That is why we use the color green in the altar, pulpit, and cross. This summer, might we all take up this challenge by reading a different book each month. I have selected three books for us to read together and discuss that will challenge each of us and help us grow in our understanding of God, our relationship with God, and our relationships with each other. Each month we will come together on the last Wednesday of the month on Zoom to discuss the books that we have read and how each of these books challenged, helped, or pushed us to be better followers of Christ. You may pick up the books from the church office or order them online.
