The greatest gift any of us could ever receive is found in Jesus.
In giving His own life for our sins and granting us new life by his resurrection, He gave us everything He had to show how much He loves us. Our gift in return is not only to give him our trust and worship, but to be good stewards of the time, talent, and treasures he has given us. How and where we use these three gifts reveals what’s in our hearts. Jesus said that we cannot serve both God and money (Matthew 6:24), so we believe that it is important for us to be good stewards of our finances as part of our worship, and honor God in the process.
We don’t give to receive, and God says not to let our left hand know what our right hand is doing when it comes to giving (Matthew 6:1-3). But, He does promise us that when we put Him above all else, He will supply all our needs (Matthew 6:25-33). In addition, God uses your gifts to further His ministry and purpose at Wesleyan Heights Church, for our ministry partners, in our city, and around the world.
